Our Impact


 

Echo has educated hundreds of thousands of students by equipping teachers with curricula about global humanitarian issues and creating opportunities for students to take what they’ve learned in the classroom out into the world.

 

Humanitarians & Honorees

Gandhi. King. Mandela. History offers extraordinary examples of individuals who take personal responsibility for the human condition. Since its inception, the Echo Award Against Indifference has honored those individuals in the Charlotte region who personify our mission to promote human dignity, justice and moral courage through positive, effective action for humankind.

A curriculum-based educational program connecting high school students with global humanitarians who exemplify the power of the individual to make a difference.

Footsteps Global Initiative

A travel program that gives regional students the opportunity to learn about, travel to, and serve locations of humanitarian importance, exposing students to a global perspective.
