In
the spring of 2009, six carefully chosen Charlotte-area students committed
to ECHO ABROAD: Footsteps In
Rwanda.
As part of this intensive study-travel initiative, these
extraordinary students will examine
Rwanda
’s culture, history, political system, social structures and
educational system, as well as learn about the Partners In Health (PIH)
model, and raise scholarship funds for their journey. In the rural community
of Rwinkwavu, the Student Ambassadors will work alongside Rwandans on
projects to improve education and to build relationships.
